It is not on just your side of the pond that people park too close. Look at this.
We went to a stately home in southern England and I because I had been recently dinged in a car park, I chose to park on the other side of a 20 acre field by myself. When I came back this turnip had parked unbelievably close. ![]() The Nissan is the black one on the right.

Nope! Definitely not. It is the other idiot in the coupe or any 2 door for that matter that should park away from others.

There is no reason at all to take a bat to someone else car (or truck). The BMW driver is a total douchebag. I applaud the truck driver.
If the lot was empty, why did he need to take two spaces to begin with? Bottom line is the BMW owner is a fucktard.

The truck driver is also one of those. He was deliberately being provocative and looking to create an issue. I am sure he expected something to happen, otherwise why do it.

I double park sometimes. Absolutely all the way in the corner of the lot in no man's land. It's so far away from the lot there is no logical reason why someone would park next to me unless they were intentionally trying to be d-bag.

I am not a fan of those who take up 2 spots, maybe if your driving a rare super car but even then its not cool.
at the same time, 2 wrongs don't make a right and what that truck did was just asking for it. Hope everything gets resolved for the best

Reminds me of this recent gem:
http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2014/09/...s-up-2-spaces/ Back to the original post, I don't understand why the guy just didn't park at the end spot of that row. He could have parked it real close to the curb which would leave lots of space between him and the whoever would have parked next to him. I also wonder how far that spot is in relation to the gym. I remember at a gym I used to go to where people were jockeying for the closest spot to cut down on how far they had to walk to go workout. I just have to laugh at this bit of irony. |
