That's about right for Honda Certified collision center. And for that price it should be perfect.
Figure nearly $250 just for bumper. $400-$500 just for painting fender.
Is that metallic paint ?

Yes it is a graphite metallic. The bumper only has some small scratches over the last few inches. I didn't bring it to honda yet for an estimate, this was a local body shop that came highly recommended.

Do you think I should go through with the repair and then try to sell or just sell it as is? (Basically, do you think it is worth the $$$?)

I'm assuming bumper gets sanded, filled with epoxy and smoothed then painted. Make sure it's not just a compound, polish and buff.

Fix then sell and recoup repair fee into selling price - don't rush the sale, always a buyer for a Honda

Fair enough, I am going to get a price from the honda collision centre and compare, if they are similar I will probably go with these guys as they have great reviews.

That price is not bad and not good. It is priced more towards insurance. You should look around on Yelp and see if there are shops that do cash price. It should be a little cheaper than that.

Thanks - I may mention that too them. I think the paint time/materials on the front bumper looks quite a bit high as well since they only have to blend the pass side of the car and the time is actually higher than painting/blending the whole fender. It wouldnt make sense to repaint the whole thing.

It's all labor by book time.they're not going to charge you $45.00 to paint a fender because you used up fifteen minutes of actual spray time.
It's fender prep wash to remove traces of oil etcetera, primer and smooth, two part metallic paint and smooth, clear top coat and smooth. Bumper looks like remove it, sand damaged area, smooth out damage/filler?, base coat. flex agent paint.
Tape up car, as reads as if fender and bumper to be painted on car to blend it with door and hood.
They may use oven to bake on finish.
Fender removal and install could mean headlight and fender liner removal.
And finally a completed car wash. And work warrsntied.
If you just took fender in lose to paint expect $300 by a good shop.

The conundrum is that the quote above comes from a highly recommended (google and my performance shop friend) however, I have received two other quotes from body shops who have performed work for forum members for $350 and $375. These seem low, but the car doesn't have to look 100% as I am going to be selling used and just needs to look presentable.

I have an appointment tomorrow at the Honda body shop and will get their price. Once I have that I Will get back with the shop above and see if they can do any better not going through insurance and paying cash.

This thread may be helpful. but definately price shop. And try buffing out bumper yourself, hard to tell frm pics if surface or deep scratches.

bumper is through the paint, I have a PC 7242 and remove scratches from friends cars (sometimes my own) and this will just get covered up when it gets blended.
