BMW Dominates Top 10 List ...

....for cars consuming excessive oil V8 is the culprit.

Per BMW: cars "may consume up to one quart of engine oil per 750 miles under certain driving conditions".

My diesel has been fine thus far. My LX 470 with 190,000 requires no additional oil in between 7,000 mile change cycles. My prior BMWs have not needed engine oil. My MBs have also been free of leaks and burns until after 60-70k miles

Figured 7 series would be number one. It is one of the worst rated cars by consumer report.
