I was standing at the end of the pit lane for the Touring car races and was right in front of priaulx's spin and the Dunlop sign that got demolished.
I didn't get a very good shot but got a couple of photos of the sign getting destroyed. I asked a marshal if I could take a bit home but he told me no

I sort of hoped Andy Priaulx would be doing a bit better....that spin he had was pretty impressive. The BMWs aero is killing them on the straights compared to the VWs.

I've been pushing for Priaulx to do well also. You said the VWs would be the ones to beat earlier on and, so far, you've been proven right!

Photos are uploaded. Really happy with some of them, especially as it's the first time I've ever tried photographing motorsport.

Corners: 12 Circuit length: 2.69 miles Race Distance:, - First BTCC Race: 1960 Qualifying Lap Record: Jason Plato: 1m26.130s, (93.04mph) 2013 Race Lap Record: Jason Plato: 1m26.902s (92.21mph) 2013 One of the most popular events on the BTCC calendar, Oulton Park in Cheshire is as picturesque as it is action-packed. The track was first developed over 60 years ago – built into the natural contours of the picturesque landscape – and the BTCC has been visiting for the vast majority of that time. Occupying an ideal summer spot in June, last season saw a huge crowd of over 40,000 attend during the course of the weekend. Oulton Park undoubtedly provides one of the best ‘family atmospheres’ of any BTCC weekend, and in 2013 drivers and team members enjoyed an informal campsite walkabout to meet the fans and soak up the excitement. What’s more, for the first time in several years the BTCC cars will utilise the full International Circuit adding an even greater challenge and spectacle for drivers and fans. DUNLOP TO INTRODUCE NEW SPECIFICATION BTCC TYRE AT OULTON PARK Dunlop, Official Tyre Partner to the MSA British Touring Car Championship, will be introducing a new specification tyre at the next rounds of the championship at Oulton Park, Cheshire on June 6/7. http://www.btcc.net/2015/06/03/dunlo...t-oulton-park/ and here's your timetable: http://www.btcc.net/calendar/oulton-park/ |

Tordoff wins – Priaulx on the podium.
Successful weekend for BMW at the British Touring Car Championship’s (BTCC) appearance in Oulton Park. BMW Motorsport June 08 2015 Andy Priaulx first of all secured third place in qualifying. Then in the first race, at the wheel of his BMW 125i M Sport in action for West Surrey Racing, Priaulx crossed the finish line in the same position and then celebrated on the podium. His team-mate Sam Tordoff delivered a stunning performance in the third race, crossing the line first after 15 laps. In the previous races he had finished ninth and fifth. Andy Priaulx frustrated by effects of winter rule changes
A frustrated Andy Priaulx was left bemoaning the fact that he couldn’t race to a better result in the first encounter at Oulton Park, and says he feels the West Surrey Racing BMW 125i is a “blunter tool” due to rule changes made over the winter.
