991 GT3 tried to race me...

...in my X5. I was driving down the road at a steady speed when we came across it. My wife was making fun of the spoiler and also pointing out that there was a teenager in the back even though there isn't a seat, and suddenly he took off like we were racing. Maybe he was just showing off, but it is funny since just about 2 weeks ago a different GT3 tried to race me when I was in the e93. I don't know what it is with these guys.

Anyway, it actually didn't seem all that fast and sounded kind of blah. In all fairness, the one I saw two weeks ago sounded better. Looks pretty good overall but not amazing or exotic. I think I would take a Z06 over it even if they were the same price.

Weird. I was at the track last weekend and the 991 GT3 sounded awesome and was fast all weekend long. The C7 Z06 was fast and sounded awesome too, at least until it broke on Saturday and had to be flat bedded away.

Just saying.

And most likely gt3 wasnt even aware of your existence, just cruising around
If you think low 11s car isnt "that" fast, your e93 must be prius slow

Yeah it definitely was...but it just did a short burst. It wasn't like we were racing on a track here, guys. Settle down. The yellow one last week was so intent on showing off that he almost rear-ended a car in front of him.

...in your opinion. You weren't there. It wasn't GT-R fast, I'll say that. When I punch the gas, it seems like the cars around me go into reverse. And as I say, it was only a short burst of acceleration, so I'm just saying that from what I saw it didn't seem all that impressive. I'm sure it's better on a track. Your guys clearly aren't getting the humor of a GT3 racing an X5 that isn't racing.

He was aware, probably why he was showing off. And yes, I would bet that a Prius could beat my e93 in certain situations.

Well, that's true. I haven't driven the 991 GT3. Have you? I did drive the 996 GT3 on the street and while it was pretty quick at the time, it was really tedious to drive.
