Anyone Watch: HELIX on SyFy?
What a frustrating ass show! I mean, I have watched all season 2 episodes, so I feel compelled to finish it with only 2 episodes left. I mean, the premise is solid and there are some nice eye candy and good gore with the infected and some decent fight scenes. It's just that there are sooooo many holes in the actions all the characters take. Just stupid shit that makes no sense. Far too many to explain but if you watch, you know exactly what I mean. I missed Season 1 and was thinking about catching up on it as the reviews were pretty solid. Wondering who here has watched both seasons and how do they compare...? http://www.syfy.com/helix

I really wanted to watch the first season, but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe saw 3 episodes and then gave up.
And then it seems if I see it on SciFi and nothing else is on, it's always one of those few episodes I already saw |

Ive seen all of season 1 and maybe I'm missing like 1 or 2 episodes of season 2. Personally I preferred season 1 however I'm not sure I would want to watch season 1 after watching season 2.
I like the show overall I just think its getting crazier and crazier (not necessarily in a good way). Kinda reminds me of when I started watching Lost where the first seasons I enjoyed and got hooked wanting to know more about what was going on. Then it was almost like they really didnt know what to come up with so they just made up random shit and I was like c'mon reaaaaally??? I stopped watching Lost in like season 2 or something, never picked it up again. Helix is not quite there but I get a feeling its heading in the same direction. I also watch 12 Monkeys which I like a bit more than Helix. |

I watched the entire season 1 on Netflix over a weekend of weather. Things just weren't happening quick enough for me, and it was sketchy at best. It was an interesting premise show, just didn't feel all of it. With my background in analytic chemistry, there were just too many scientific inaccuracies/awkwardness to me as well - gave me eye twitches when I would notice something technically wrong. A real turn off, so I quit following. Yes, I need help and I critique shows on their attention to details. I'm a great movie date too.

I like Helix but I get tired of time loops
I like Helix (2nd season more intriguing)but I get tired of time loops(12 monkeys)
which time loop are we in now? I wish this trend to modified fantasy and fairy stories would play out and I am also tired of vampires and wear wolfs but I really like the Walking Dead. I think the other Zombie series are kind of like can I listen to this drum solo for how long. I wish there was some good mental hardware Sci Fi. The Intruders on BBC was pretty interesting. Recent good Sci Fi movies I really liked Oblivion , Enders Game , Prometheus , Ion Flux(not that recent) |

BSG: There was something incredibly attractive about that president chick, but she isn't pretty. Maybe that's the attraction of power and explains Monica Lewinski slobbing Bill
