Up until the latest generation of vehicles, that is what Cadillac was doing. That was what the CTS was all about. Get a mid-size luxury vehicle for 3 series money. Now the CTS went up to the 5 series and ATS with the 3, 2nd gen owners are leaving to the mainstream brands. If Cadillac was happy with the value minded crowd, that is great, but they aren't and GM has Buick to play that game. Cadillac wants the image crowd which demands good marketing, dealer experience, etc. Have to sell the Cadillac lifestyle, which they suck horribly at right now. |

Hmm, tough. Personally, the coupe would definitely be out of the question for purchasing. You're better off getting a corvette in my opinion. And in so many ways does it look horrible. The sedan looks much better. A little too flamboyant in my opinion in certain areas. I really feel like Cadillac is in the middle of an identity crisis. They should stick to more elegant styling rather than going for this semi-aggressive look which really makes some of the parts on the car seem aftermarket. That's just me, though. In the end, I'd probably just buy a loaded m3 and be content with paying the additional money. It seems like a more consolidated car.
