Evo vs STI????
I think Evo is better than STI because one of them is Mitsubishi and the other one is Subaru... Mitsubishi has more powerful motors I think...

+1 FANBOY HERE!
i won't vote yet because we really can't judge the new ones yet. I also haven't driven an Evo yet, so i won't judge it either the motors are both 2.0L turbocharged to ~300 hp. Mitsu has different versions of the Evo with 320 and 400 hp. the only thing subaru has to offer are aftermarket products of the STI called the Spec C and there's also things like the S203 or S204 which look like racecars |

base evo because you cant get a stick on the MR. I bet this will chenge after Mitsu realizes how big of a mistake they made. The evo just looks sooooo much beter than the STI now and its more of a sports car then the STI from what I read. You also know the After market for the EVO will be INSANE.

Based off of looks alone, the EVO hands down. The front is so aggressive it's not even funny. Dunno bout the tech/performance tbh. Never really kept up with that battle. Although I did favor the previous STI over the EVO.

we gonna see a comparison of those cars here: Bro, they just kinda pieces of shit, how u could think to post a comparison like that All car productors can make powerful engines in the time of technology, that's not the success. The point is makin' the strong and safe car same time and we gotta look germans 4 that. Not all germans man! havin' fun, yeah! I'd prefer EVO if there all BMWs will disappear one day LOL Last edited by BYZBYZ; 11-19-2007 at 10:54 AM.. Reason: if there all BMWs will be destroyed one day.. |

I personally think that the STI looks better than the EVO esp. after just coming back from the LA Auto Show and seeing both in real life. Another reason I would choose the STI is the exclusivity, I see a few evos everyday but I dont see STI around my neighborhood often.
And oh yea the sound of the STIs are absolutely stunning!!! |

Well I cant comment on the new models as I haven't driven either of them. However with the previous models, the Evo is the better car.
I will say that stock for stock, as a street car, the STi is probly the better daily driver. The Evo is a little more raw, and isn't the most comfortable car to drive everyday. The aftermarket really favors the Evo, as dollar for dollar you get much more out of the Evo. Giving the US STi the 2.5L hurt it IMO. That really limited the availability of parts.
