Serious Question
Ok, so I honestly didn't know where to post this so please feel free to move this however you like.
I am an owner of the 2015 M4, however, like we all know porsche is the next step in sports cars. The only one that I really would want (other than the 918) is the GT3. I was just wondering if you all think that this will be the last NA GT3 ever? Sorry, I really just didn't know where to post this and figured that this is the next step for a lot of us. Thanks for your thoughts! |

yes apparently will be the last NA.
125BHP/litre x 4.0 = 500BHP

I would love this car, few folks on the M5 forum have purchased them and have nothing bad to say about it.
Sorry this isn't related to your question, but I just really want a 9k revving drivers car

I am lusting after the GT3 in current form but without a manual I'm not going to pursue it. I've heard rumors of a manual for the RS coming but I am highly skeptical. If this is the last NA GT3 AND they release a manual...I'll probably sacrifice my NSX in the name of acquiring one.
I don't care for the fender scoops though. |

No doubt it.. I think Porsche will make a few more NA motors... Probably limited run productions with a limited run price. I think Porsche knows, as well as Ferrari, Aston Martin that enthusiast love NA motors(Even the German 3 know this). I think you still can make a NA motor with great power, and decent MPG.. But it will cost lots of money, time, development, and creativity to do it. Superchargers, Turbo, Electricity all produce way more power, better MPGs in a smaller package. An I think in the future 90% of all cars will come this way... I think all manufactures will make limited run higher performance NA motors as long as there is still a market.. and the manufactures CAFE portfolio allows it. Look at the Corvette, GT350,Lexus RFC, Mustang, Camaro, Charger/Challenger (NA).. I think this will really apply to cars here in Merica. The issue is outside the US and emissions rules.. It is a lot harder than it was 10yrs ago. An keep in mind the trend of gas prices over history.. If they go up we get more efficient.. then when it drops we get stupid buy SUVs, Trucks Quote:
You guys break the Ms in yet? Shut your dirty car whore mouth .. it should be washed out with used P Car motor oil... The last .. take it back Last edited by DocWeatherington; 12-26-2014 at 08:43 PM.. |

Yeah, my wife took hers in for break in service last week. I think we are both around 2000 miles now. I got scolded for taking hers to the grocery this week. That is why I have my own apparently lol. |

Some of these were taken by random photographers at random events... Also to "technically" keep the thread on track: Quote:
I just wish the 997 GT3 had the wide body. The 997 RS would be far too expensive for me to acquire. |

GT3 is pretty hardcore. Not a good DD IMO. You drive a turbo car already. I think any 991 or whatever next gen 911 would be a step up from M4 IMO and you will be pretty happy.
