Favorite Vodka?

goose, or there is this really good vodka that i tried last weekend, but i cant remember the name, it was some euro brand.

Hmm... you must have drank a whole lot or you were drinking a pretty sh*tty vodka because most of the impurities (toxins) that cause a bad hangover are filtered out of the vodka. I'm not saying that if you drink a bottle of premium vodka you are immune from a hangover, but comparitively speaking to other liquors I always felt that vodka didn't give me much of a hangover. Tequila is the one that kills me the next morning when I drink too many LI Ice Teas.

Regular: I only drink Belvedere. Tried many of the other brands and to me this is the smoothest.

Budget: Svedka or Finlandia

Someone recommended Tito's Handmade Vodka to me but I haven't been able to try that one yet. Finally found a bottle in a New Hampshire package store, should have bought it.

Finlandia is good stuff!! I remember in college during the olympics we would take vodka shots from whatever country scored. Finland scored a lot, and I didn't mind too much either..

You guys should give Kettleone a shot. Extremely smooth..

shitty vodka will do that. if you order vodka/mixed drink in a club, bar, restaurant, etc... make sure you always specify the brand. otherwise you'll wind up with bottom of the shelf stuff like gilby's.

Yeah if you want a hangover in the morning look for vodka on the bottom shelf in the plastic jug, Mr. Boston will do.

hahaha some supermarkets even have their own store brand vodka.

that said, anybody ever try kirkland (costco) vodka?

oh yeah and LOL at gilby's, I won a jug of that at a bachelor party, lucky me. I think we used it to strip paint off our deck.

I prefer Smirnoff. Priced well and tastes great. Not jumping on the grey goose bandwagon because it's $$.

I've had ketel one many times, and i'm just not a big fan of it. It seems to burn a lot to me at least. I would rather drink stoli or svedka if i'm on a budget.

Ketel One definitely has an undesirable burn.
