Rajon Rondo Joins The DALLAS MAVERICKS!
Although I see the appeal of this trade... I am not 100% certain. Yes, you bring a "Top Tier All-Star Guard" in Rondo, but his scoring is sub par and he's not as tenacious as he once was. Brandon Wright is a very dynamic player whose stats continue to rise every year! And if our Center: Tyson Chandler goes down, Wright will be missed! Centers are very hard to come by in this league, especially quality ones! Guards are a dime a dozen. But apparently I don't get paid MILLIONS to make these decisions. So we shall see... Cuban is a mastermind and I have much respect for the guy. Hopefully this pays off with a FINALS trip this season because that is EXACTLY what he's aiming for.

Oh hell yeah. We needed a point guard and someone who could play perimeter d. Hate to see Brandan Wright go, but Rondo should be fun. Provided he stays past this year.

Not too sure about this trade...
With Chandler being injury-prone as his career indicates, I'm not sure who would be able to fill the void left by him, if he were to go down with an injury. Or maybe that might not matter if Rondo can make a significant enough impact on this team. We shall see. All I know is, this team is about to get even more exciting to watch now! |
