Here's an interesting article saying that Lumosity has no real impact on brain function, despite what the commercials lead us to believe.
Apparently the game Portal 2 is much better

When I watched a couple episodes of Hack My Brain I did better than the guy on most of the computer challenges they showed on the screen. I can't remember names to save my lie most times though.

I almost signed up for Lumosity, but then I just got back on OT and my BIQ (bacon) has gone thru the roof

I have to agree, i did far better than the people they choose for those test.

If you want you brain to be at the top of its game, doing anything that required problem solving is going to help. The more you are force to solve a problem the quicker you become at it. Most video games are all about solving some sort of problem and the more you do the quicker you become at it.

Lumosity is marking to the sheep in the world those who feel they could be smart, it does not make you smarter that can not change it just help you problem solve a little better.
