Fujifilm X-T1
Hello everybody,
I've been interested lately in going the mirrorless route and the Fujifilm X-T1 has caught my eye. ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...al_camera.html ) Does anyone have any experience with this camera? I understand Photokina is in a few weeks and perhaps Fuji will release another body then. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

The X-T1 is amazing. I went on vacation and rented one to supplement my x100. I liked it and fuji glass so much that i went out and got an x-e1 and lenses.
The EVF is in a class of it's own. First of all, it's huge, you get lost in it. Second of all, its super smart. If you change the orientation of your camera the EVF display changes with you. I'll take an ovf over and evf any day of the week, but this is cutting the gap really close. The size of the X-T1 is also unassuming. It is basically the same size as an x100 body before a lens is attached, i always thought it was going to be canon rebel sized or something. |

I've been using an X-T1 for a few months now and it's becoming increasingly difficult to reach for my Canon DSLR. I'm still learning the post processing of the Fuji files, but we're starting to bond. The Canon gear may be up for sale soon.

I hate to say it, but this is one thing that scares me away from the X-T1. What if I like it too much?

no experience with the x-t1 but i may give it a rent soon. though I've rented an x100s and fell in love, but didn't make the jump to purchase one since the 6d was gathering dust.
i must say though, the x-trans sensor does amazing work. yes, it may not be full frame, but its color reproduction, even shooting in jpeg, is extremely appealing. the form factor is always a plus (i'm more interested in street photography than anything else), and that lack of AA filter.. omg. just waiting on photokina and see what announcements fujifilm will make before making any purchases (as some members have suggested).

once you go fuji you never come back!!!
i have the x-pro1 since its release.. waiting for the x-pro2 now. I say wait for a month and see what the new models are going to be but i don't think there is going to be a replacement for the x-t1. i'm hopeful on an X-pro2 with the focus speed of an x-t1 and an OVF..
