BMW Named Second Most Valuable Global Brand in BrandZ Top 100 Ranking 2014

The 2014 BrandZ Top 100 Global Brands Ranking has been released by Millward Brown, a global research agency specializing in advertising, marketing communications, and media.

The list places BMW as the world's second most valuable automotive brand, behind only monolith Toyota. BMW places 32nd overall with a $25 billion brand value.

Mercedes placed 42nd, Honda 70th, Ford 84th and Nissan 90th.

How often do you see a VW in the US? Or parts of Asia? Think that has a lot to do with it unless you mean VW as a whole with Porsche, Audi etc under it's wing. Think those are all considered separate brands.

I would've expected Ferrari would be up there. Good one for BMW

The title was a bit misleading, imo. I kept staring at the Apple logo at number two wondering when BMW had changed their logo. But then I read that they're the 2nd most valuable automotive brand and 32nd overall.

Good for BMW though to be second (amongst its peers)!
