Need advice please

Am new go the bimmer forum. Have wanted a m 3 for long time but have tempted be the 330 and other bmw. Only have about 20k to speed but want the best bang for my buck. Am 65 but not over the hill and have a need for speed ever so often. Would like a soft top. New the expects could advise. Ths ken

I would say get the M3 of your dreams. You sound like you have lusted after one for a long time. Don't put things off for tomorrow what can be had today. You only live once.

Go for it! Life is just so damn much fun when you make your own dreams come true. Just don't compromise for a few bucks in the end, they usually are the ones that will end up haunting you. 65 seems to be the age on this forum where people finally decide to live a little, and I for one can't wait to meet that point in my life.

Also consider the Z4M roadster. Same engine as the E46 M3, and you might be able to find one for a better price.

the e46 m3 convertible is typically cheaper than the coupe/sedan also, so that's convenient.
