OP - Congrats on a clean done up 991

I did the same thing. .. Got out of my Lime Rock Park ///M3 6spd and got a 991 C4S Cab 7spd.

Just like the OP said - power delivery is very similar but I have every option and the PSE deffinetly makes a huge difference in the sound - I it drive with it on...I especially love the back fire burble...very intoxicating....

I too am curious about the New ///M4 Cab

I found the power delivery to be smoother on the M3, once the engine gets past 4500 on the 991 it feels like it gets on a diff cam and rockets forward.

I DD my 991 and wish it had a touch more torque down low.

That's the variable can time but I also find it to be better power delivery than the m3 all around.

Agree 100% the 991 needs more low end torque. My M3 modded had a good amount more low end then the 991.

You guys are definitely right. When driving in 4th gear or higher and I want to cut to the left, you absolutely have to downshift to the right gear pass 4500 to get it moving.

Thanks! I definitely wished I got PSE but it's nothing an aftermarket exhaust won't fix. I just installed an x-pipe and the back fire burbles are definitely a joy to hear.

Here's a short clip I did:

Your car is set up really really well. I hope to be making a similar move in a few more years.

agreed...the C4S with PSE was an awesome car...never should have sold it...would much rather have that car than any of the 5 M3's I have ever owned...the steering response and feel was really good, esp. with coil over kit...but couldn't fit golf clubs in the C4S......awkward having clubs in passenger seat all the time.

Thanks for looking! I have an exhaust and deck lid spoiler on the way so I'll update the thread once those arrive!

Damn, 5 M3's!? The P car definitely feels more solid and refined. Luckily I don't play golf!
