The LT4 will be for the C7 Z06 only. GM has never and will never give out the top of the line engine from a current production Vette to something else in their lineup. They are giving out the LS7 for the Z/28 since they aren't making many of them and the C7 Z06 doesn't use that engine anymore.
I can see a variant of the LT4 just how they made the LSA for the CTS-V, ZL1 and now the Gen F HSV GTS. I mean the LS9 and LSA are almost the same except the LSA has a smaller S/C, lower compression ratio, weaker pistons and 1 heat exchanger plus less power. I can't wait to see what they make but will hate to see what the price will be. I like the XTS-V but the price is eh.....I'd rather have a CTS-V Wagon, it's like ~$1k more. |
