Just bought vintage 1960's Heuer Carrera Valjoux 92! Stoked.

My dad has recently gotten me into vintage chronograph watches... particularly Heuer and watches with auto racing ties.

I found this super clean, 1965-1968 (estimate) ref 3641 Valjoux 92 movement Heuer Carrera.

These are a great investment from what I'm learning. I can't wait to get it (ebay).

Likely the first of many.

Any Heuer Carrera owners on here?

HA! That is always a fear with these things. I had my dad who is an enthusiast and Heuer 'whore'. He's got he original Siffert Autavia and a slough of others.

I love the cleanness of the watch. Currently looking at some new straps... likely a nylon 'NATO' style and a db10 custom gray leather with blue stitching.
