Looking a bit into the future, I guess it's safe to assume the CTS-V will be powered by the LSA engine again?

Quite possibly. The El Miraj concept has a 4.5 twin turbo v8 that will probably make it into some GM car. Z06/Z07 Vette? V Cadillac? Doesn't sound like it will make LSA power though so I'm guessing it will not be the top Cadillac or Corvette engine

I would not be surprised if the V shows up with that 4.5 TT V8 making 600hp

That braking distance, ummm wow. Beats leagues of performance cars if that figure is true.

Nice to see the three German getting pressure from new rivals, like Cadillac, Infinity and Lexus, hopefully Alfa Romeo, I'm already waiting so many years for a sporty stylish RWD sedan with Alfa V6.

I don't like the fog light thingy extending over the head light thingy. looks awkward imho.

Remember that this is the VSport, not the V. Some of the comments sound like people are confusing the two (which is easy to do).

That's great, now if only GM/Cadillac could work on the external aesthetics.

Some people think the same of BMW's.

Design is a subjective taste. I find the new CTS to be great looking in general. Though I do think the rear is a bit bland.

I don't deny it. It could look like a giant butt and some people would like it. To me, it looks like an old Victorian house squished down with wheels added, too many sharp lines on the grill and the center grill is too big, though the hood looks fine.
