2007 NCAA football talk
They called it insanity saturday Top teams have big target on their backs for the underdogs. Red river shootout lost some buzz this saturday coz both team got dropped from ranking by unranked team. LSU game with florida also lost some buzz coz it is no longer a #2 vs #3 anymore more like #2 vs #7 and that makes LSU schedule weaker as well I just hope the LSU defense is still good enough to carry them thru the SEC Championship game which might take them to BCS. But the defense is showing a little weaker each week as each opponents score a little bit more each week. Sure the defense are getting weaker as the season pushes forward. LSU offense is not up to bar for a #2 team.
Can not wait for more disasters this saturday!

I don't know where Pete came up with those imposters that were on the field in Seattle, but I was seriously shaking in my boots as a Trojan.
I don't know much about Tulane's team, but I could easily see a swap between #1 and #2 this week. |

I don't see any undefeated teams this year. I see UF bouncing back and beating LSU, CAL beating USC. Anything is possible this year.

I could see that as well...Getting beat at home by auburn should make UF really and they will be dishing out some punishments this Saturday so LSU better get their game faces on . I am looking for a very physical game down in Baton Rouge at Death Valley night game. We will see.

Cal is a definite scary test, and I'm sure UCLA wants to do some spoiling again this year.
I feel sorry for the Trojans this week, I doubt there will be much fun left over for the Friday light practice, they'll all be in getting IVs. |

I was hoping the only loss would be LSU next weekend, then revenge in Atlanta in December and straight to Championship game... I predict Gators will have at least 3 losses this year. |

It's still very sad that we don't have "play-offs" and it's all based on polls and invitations. "Would you please come dance on our corp-sponsored stage?"

The Gators did win it all last year, but this season they have a totally different team and a young one... THough, in the end, it all somehow comes (almost fine) together -- I do think that last years Glendale game should have been UF vs. OSU. |

but with the current system, if you are going to loose a game, do it early in the season so that you have more chance to climb back up. For those who loose late in the season:sad0147:, you are screwed...

Not a fan of them, but I still think Oklahoma has a very good team and chance. Colorado has ambushed many a team up there over the years.
