YAR! I love this holiday.
Last year on National Talk Like a Pirate Day, I had a few of the Sacajawea Dollar coins. I went to a local bar and slammed them on the counter and said "Barkeep, give me a pint of your finest ale. Here is a Golden Doubloon" I could tell by his reaction that the bar tender didn't know about day's theme |

I didn't know any pirate lingo. It's really sad that I could google "pirate jargon" and find a "pirate's glossary of terms." I thought I had no life. LOL
