Get a Civic HX. 35-40 MPG. I kinda wish I had kept it as a DD, but it didn't have A/C.

If you're interested in a subie have you looked at legacys? My friend used to have one and it was a manual as well... Bigger than the wrx/ sti and you could still flash it if you wanted more power, oh and awd of course.

Don't know if the newer TSX's come in awd but they have manuals.

Or if you want a true beater what about a focus. Lol might be on the smaller side thogh

My dad still has his 1998 4Runner. 340,000 miles and counting. Brake pads have been replaced one time due to old age.

Didn't know legacies were still around.

After talking to a buddy this morning I think I'm going to change my goals. Fun little (but still nice) stick. Forget the sedan and family. I just want something to play around in when I don't feel like driving the M. What got me down that road was an Audi TT that he brokered. That car would be perfect if it wasn't so ugly. It makes the WRX look great.

I was going to say throw some snow tires on the M3 and put one summer wheel in the trunk to weigh it down.

Wait for the Porsche Macan next year?

Nashville TN needs awd? I live in NY and drive a RWD car in the winter.
I say get an Acura TSX--fwd should suffice. If you need more traction, get snows. I would need proof of the weather that could beat that setup in the south.
