Has anyone ordered an M3 yet?

Has anyone ordered an E92 M3 yet?

A friend of mine has driven the new M3 and he says the 335 is "nothing" in comparison... :rocks:

I'm thinking about it, but I just can't justify spending the money at my age, especially considering my E92 is fairly pimped and only 4 months old.

This is true for me as well, I'll probably wait 4 years, and then trade in my 335 for a '11 M3, hopefully it will still be the E92 at that point.

It is after all 420hp. That's 120hp + CF roof-top for an additional $20k.

I think I'll wait about 2 years. Almost every new BMW model has some problems the first 2 years. The E46 M3 for example, and the 335s both had major engine problems.

But there is nothing like driving the first models out on the street.

Ha ha, dr325...hey, notice my sig.? I just got the Morr Alloys MonoForged VS7 (CSL) wheels that weigh only 20lbs.; sold my M6 Reps, put on the VS7s and dropped another 5lbs. of unsprung weight at each corner.

Next will be PROcede v2.0, and then back to the strip to run in the mid 12's...hopefully. Looking forward to having some fun in Oct. or Nov. when it cools off down here. :rocks:

btw -- did you figure out which area you're moving to? PM me.

Here's my "new" M3...I mean PROcede 335i.

How dare you get rid of your M6 reps ! I remember when you first posted pics of 'em and I was all envious b/c I didn't see that many here at the time, and now you go and get those new (admittedly awesome) wheels? What were you thinking? lol j/k

You know what? I say you try and get the M-Sport bumper and side sills and we'll just say it's an M3-lite

I kind of like that..."M3 Lite." Thanks, I may use that. Yeah, I loved the look of the M6 reps on my car; they matched so well and they're a very aggressive look (more so than the CSLs or VS7s), but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get real forged alum. CSL type wheels that weigh 20lbs. each (5 lb.s less than the cast M6 Reps) for a very decent price!!!

All the other forged wheels (iForge, DPE, HRE, ForgeLine, etc.) are typically $3,500 or more, and I've heard some horror stories with some of these well-known brands. Although Morr Alloys are a small outfit (although local to me), they do make high-quality, light-weight monoforged wheels for reasonable prices.

Personally I think its gay they are selling it here as a Nissan and not and Infiniti ... I know its because of the heritage .... but honestly when I'm paying 50K+ for the car I want loaner cars, and Infiniti service .... not the shitty service you get at a Nissan dealership.

What's wrong with going in for service in your $75k high-performance GT-R "race car" and being next in line to a Nissan Sentra? Can you even imagine?
