Seems Audi kept it close to the great looking concept.

I own an e90 now. If the A3 sedan does not look too much like a Jetta, I would not hesitate to buy another.

Looks great, size is much more appealing than the F30 for me, but Haldex is a no go for me. Pity it won't have real quattro or the sport diff.

too bad any of the top of the line S-lines cost way too much. it will be almost 40k for an entry level beater.

The concept car was the best looking Audi sedan since the previous generation A8 and A4.

The spypics look nowhere like the concept. Very disapointing. I wonder if we'll get it in Europe.

Seems to be very close to the A4 in size and feats, what is the differentiating point?

The A4 has grown from 178 inches for the B5 to the current B8 being 185.2 inches long. The E36 was 174.5" while the F30 is 182". Creating a smaller car, closer to the size of the B5 A4 or E36 is very appealing to some of us, those who find the current A4/S4 and F30 too big. The A3 sedan should be near the B5 A4 size, but as I stated earlier, will still have a transverse motor and Haldex, rather than a longitudinal engine and the sportier quattro setup.
