Stupid and very typical of an American car company. It's just like the Ford GT500. Ford shoves a huge engine into a car with an old, out-of-date suspension. American car companies need to focus on more than power...just my 2 cents
Your ignorance is going to make it look like we're all BMW snobs on this forum. The current CTS-V is one heck of a car...it had some very minor issues (ie. wheel hop, etc.) when first released but they have all been addressed. It was in pretty close competition with the E39 M5 for considerably less and produced very similar performance numbers. This new CTS-V will be a monster and those of you that think they don't handle well (well for what they are) obviously haven't spent any time in one. It will be an M5 killer for alot less money...which makes it accessible to a much broader audience. Obviously GM aren't the ones behind the times...

+1 on the comments that the CTS-V isn't that bad of a car. GM actually spent some considerable time tuning the suspension unlike their other cars. In fact, I believe the CTS-V was the first car that GM tested on the Nurburgring.

If you read between the lines...they actually quite like how the car handles.
