I've heard that the white Hero 3 will be the same quality as the Hero HD, which is less than the Hero 2. The Hero HD is around $129 now. The Hero 2 is around $199. The Hero 3 will be $199.

So, basically you are getting a regular Hero HD for more money, BUT you don't have to pay for $70 for the Wifi attachment, so it comes out almost the same.

Don't forget to consider size. Not a necessity to me, but it's nice that it's much smaller none the less.
