Hey I want to know some stuff about frozen paints. My car has been partially repainted and here is why.

I was going to repaint the whole car this coming fall, up in a poll barn with no dust or humidity. The perfect painting environment. The real question is, is has anyone ever done a frozen montego 335i? We have experience with flattening the paint and clear, I just want to know if the job would be unique. I'm from MN so I don't really see whats going on in the car world.

Also what are some good looking rims for this car, that won't bankrupt me? BTW wheres the cheapest place to get a csl trunk?

Its the clear they use they did that on purpose. IDK why but maybe to make sure the cars were always detailed by BMW themselves. Normal matte cars have a frozen finish with a flattened clear on top that can be waxed, scratched, and all the stuff you can do to normal paint without ruining the look.
