Damn Look What I Found!!!
Sorry No Picture But...
i have a zippy bag in the cop holder in the center console and i put all my change in there. after a month i was bored today and decided to get 3 full bags out. (after a bag is full i put in drivers side panel and replace a new bag in cup holder) after organizing all the coins (major pita) i found that i had $110 and sum change left. WOW i used to be like coins are coins but damn. 1 month and $110 back? this is like an monthly tax refund. point is keep your change as overtime even if they are small it will grow. |

We do it once a year...pull the change out of the cars, dressers, kitchen, laundry room. About 4 months ago we took it to one of those change machines at a Safeway and got over $400.

When I used to work at a supermarket @ 16-17 to save up for my first car...I saw 2 guys haul a platform with two 5 gallons water cooler filled with coins to run thru coinstar!
Almost a hour later the machine rang up over a grand in coins!

I usually get around 30-45 bucks a month from coins. When I was in Ireland I bought a piggy bank thats a guiness mug that says beer money on it so I keep that in my cup holder and evertime i get change I put it in there. Sometimes it takes me less then a month others more but its at least 30-45 bucks a month. Also if anyone has Bank of America sign up for keep the change. They round up your purchase, 39.02 would be 40, and put the 98 cents in you savings account

i think im going to store plastic bags in driver side door and keep a dixie cup in the cup holder. once it gets full just store in a bag and put in driver side door as well.
i have hsbc and i don't think they have the round up feature. is there a limit on how much you can get back though? can i go to the .99 cent store that as tax and it will be like $1.20 cents about and get 80 cents back for each purchase? |

I guess if you were to do that for each purchase you can but keep in mind it costs you 2 dollars instead of 1.20 but you get the 80 cents back in your savings acct.
Also to my fellow e90ers....bank atlantic doest charge a fee to exchange coins into cash. You go to the machine run your change through it bring them the reciept and your set!

They are coinstar-esque. No fancy lcd screen but it counts your money and is 100% free, no membership needed (at least thats how it is at bank atlantic)
