Going to auction to buy SUV tomorrow....which one ?

looking at 2001-2002 4Runners, same years Pathfinders and QX4s, and 2002-2004 Grand Cherokees V6 or V8. Mainly looking for reliable car and heard tons of crap on all above....

My dad bought Altima 2.5l. I also thought that Nissan should be pretty much bullet proof in engine department and yet at 120k miles he needs new engine. Nissan is 110% responsible but will not repair the car because its too expensive.

Anyway, already bought a clean 2002 Jeep Cherokee Overland, 108k miles, $4k. In comparison, 2002 4Runner with about 80k miles was $6.5-7k
