Z4 is due for an LCI within the next 6-12 months, but this doesn't look like it. The hood meets the bumper well above the kidneys in the E89.

And it feels way too early to tease the rumored Z2 and Z3.

My guess is a collaboration with a fashion brand that starts with the letter Z, like Zara or Zenadora similar to the Lexus/Coach and Fiat/Gucci partnerships.

Doesn't have to be fashion brand. Could be another car manufacturer, like Zagato

That would be the most logical guess, wouldn't it? Though the Zagato "Z" has a serif, and the Zs in the kidneys above don't.

But still, that seems the most likely theory so far.

Right, due for an LCI, but that hood/bumper shape is too drastic for E89 LCI. It would have to be the completed update. I don't even think there is a chassis designation for the E89 replacement, yet.

And if it was a Z2/Z3, we would have seen a mule at some point.

Even a collaboration with another brand wouldn't warrant an entirely new car. Strange....
