This doesn't surprise me at all.

Most people that drive Civics or Integras think they are GOD and have very fast cars.

For a 15.2 1/4 mile stock car, it would need a LOT of mods to hit M6's 12.5-ish @ 115 mph.

Tell your friend to spend his $1000 on a hooker or something rather than talking trash.

In this thread, this guy wanted to race his stock Civic Si vs a 07 Mustang GT, saying that he might lose by HALF a car lenght.

i run into people thinking the civic si is a car from god. and they think they own the road. its funny as hell. just leave them alone. at the end of the day its a civic.

i had a 2004 acura rsx-s also. i had all the bolt-ons (cai/toda rh/e/kpro/pulleys/lsd/rbc im/esmm/4.7FD). except cams .. i ran 13.8@101.

i think you've just blown the entire invitation to race out of proportion.
no one that owns a stock civic (nitrous is irrelevant) would think they could take an m-anything. it was probably just an effort to see how the two cars would pair up.

having said that, if the kid was serious - fucking ignore him.

this is true.

only difference is that a bmw is actually better than a civic. In conclusion, BMW owners are still stupid, but civic owners are even more stupid.

but I know for a fact that there are some VERY cool civic owners out there.

. There is not way he will get an M6 with just that. He needs to put that grand and a couple more on his car to get you. If this story is for real, then the kid is way too naive. Take him for a spin on the M6, show him nicely, "this is what this shitty car can do". hahaha. But again... typical... he would say: I still think my car is faster, like some moron did to me once.
