lame kill story... i guess

Hi guys...

was stuck in traffic and a few cars from the light on the right side was a yellow truck, unnoticed until he weaved in front of me (left lane) and then back into the right. When he was infront of me I noticed the Hemi badge and reminessed about the hemi commercials on tv I followed him just as quickly & safely (there was more then 8 car lenghts space inbetween the cars. I probably gained on him, but it was a bad test.

We approached the next light (3/4 mile from previous light) and it was red....
myself on the left and the yellow truck with the hemi and the aftermarket exhaust. He revved his engine but didnt look over ? The light turned green and I launched, he didnt even try to race ? uh scared ? So i take a right at the next light and yet another red... he's behind me... it turns green and I launch... nothing.

Is it possible people wont race because they think they'll loose and dont want to insult their ego ? btw the road was safe with a grass median or cement median & no cross roads.

Maybe because he has more sense and intelligence than you and realized that racing on a busy street isn't the smartest or safest thing in the world?

while anything is possible... as i said, there was no traffic from one light to the next... since we were in the front... and the road was seperated by a large median & there were no crossroads = empty street.

Plenty of people will make it seem as though they want to race...then do nothing in hopes the other guy will mess up and crash - get caught by a cop...etc.

Best policy is not to do anything on the street.

Hasn't anyone ever seen Back to the Future Part III?

What track were you on again? Maybe the track marshall had the yellows out, or the safety car was on the track. Could be a lot of things. Maybe they had some oil on the track. Either way, I'm surprised that facility has truck versus sports car racing. The size and speed differential makes that kind of race pretty dangerous.

Not A chance, he bellied up to the bar and out of all the possible trucks out there this tool selected a Yellow Dodge?

No sense left, No intelligence, simple meat head must have just fell asleep at the light or didn't know he was in a race...

He probably was racing. Those trucks are just very slow 0-60 9 seconds. So it looked like he was casually accelerating, though for him he was trying. He probably gave up after the first 20mph or so after noticing how fast the 335 is.
