Best day of my life. Apple's stock fell as much as 5% after the announcement and with Google announcing Android 4.0 next week, Android is going to go from 61% market share to at least 70%! Apple will dip from 21% into the teens

I think it makes more sense to compare the iphone to any ONE phone running on android not comparing the iphone to all android phones combined.

Apple was once again the top vendor in July according to Millennial with a 26.45% share of the market, and Samsung followed with 19.11%. RIM was No. 3 with 11.45%, HTC was No. 4 with 10.98% and Motorola rounded out the top-5 with 10.26% of the market. Apple’s iPhone was also the most popular smartphone on Millennial’s network in July at 13.60%, followed by the Samsung Nexus S at 5.73% and the BlackBerry Curve at 5.23%. Just cause jobs only offers one flavor of iPhone, that's not our fault. That is the beauty of Android, you can get it in ANY form factory you want: With or without a keyboard. With a giant 4.5" screen or a 3.7" screen, single core or dual core, 3G or 4G. I could go on forever...

Didnt say that was ur fault... making a thread showing every single android manufacturer coming in second place to apple was your fault, i guess the commercial that says no one celebrates second place and there are more batmans than robins on halloween doesnt apply to you haha

Totally different, but nice try. When analysts see how a certain luxury maker is doing, they compare all of BMW lets say, to all of Mercedes. We are doing the same thing here, all of Android vs all of Apple

haha nice try, only difference is bmw makes more than 1 model what your doing is comparing all mercedes to 1 bmw. which was my point from the begining.. compare samsung to apple or htc to apple not all combined against one. android is a operating system, apple is a manufacturer. compare manufacturer to manufacturer

Are you proud that all iPhone users are exactly the same? I'm glad there are different flavors of Android, offers a level of "customizability" that iOS could only dream of...

PS- there are 3 (crappy) iPhone models now (3GS, 4, 4S and numerous memory amounts) so don't say it's just one model
