Finally saw a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo up close

I've seen one Saleen S7 drive by me in Miami in the past (on Ocean Drive as you can imagine...lol), but this was the 1st one I've seen up close and personal. What a beauty! 6-speed manual, 750 hp, 700 lb-ft torque. Top speed = 248 mph. Beastly!

This is a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. It was previously Steve Saleen's own personal car...he used it in the research and development of the TT S7s that went into production from 2005-2009...it's a 2003 model. I got this info from the current owner who was there...nice guy. Hopefully, he'll bring this thing to our Cars/Coffee soon before it gets sold. I think the current owner said it has like 9,000 miles on it.

Oh man!! U lucky!! Didn't he come out to the 6 speed meet like 2 years ago?? I would love to see it again at kates

I actually saw one at an auto show in NM a year or so ago. Thing is insane. It was weird I knew it was going to be there, but couldnt find it at first. After a while saw it behind a new ford sedan concept. It sits so low the sedan totally blocked it from view ha.

Awesome car! Butthat interior is pretty plain looking.

The plain interior is what I love! Don't get me wrong, I love European cars with beautiful interiors but there's something about these American monsters, the supercars that feel cobbled together, with focus on the engine and performance, the interior is an afterthought. It's not a daily driver so the inside doesn't bother me. It's an afterthought, I think it gives a sense of being on the edge, something no current Ferrari can do.

Go see it! It's in Tysons II mall of all places right next to the Starbucks. lol
