Porsche Cajun vs Audi Q5 vs RR Evoque??
Seems like those 3 vehicles are in a same, emerging new category.
I'm totally buying into this category. It has little bit of everything. Whats your take on them? If you HAD to buy one out of the three? EDIT: I'll clarify, "IF YOU HAD TO BUY ONE" means you have to pick one..

They all seem like girl cars while the RR is a little more masculine than the rest. I'd save for a Cayenne.

2 of them are not on the market yet. Only thing I can say I'll never ever buy an LR.

Nope due to the fact that my cousin has a RR sport+ 4 (friends-people I know) sold them 1 just bought 1 a month ago(well see). Other fact I buy my cars I don't lease so resale is important. LR has the worst resale ever seen on this planet.
Out of these Q5 since I drove it and it's the only one out so far. The Q5 had a better towing capacity then it's competitors only thing that might turn some people off is the 4 cylinder engine. Not mentionned by the OP but the Murano is worth a look, EX35, RDX(Ugly but very good vehicle) GLK.

If the Evoque has the same off-road capabilities as its big brothers then that's the one I'd go for. Otherwise I'd highly consider the upcoming X3 M.

That's sort of like saying that if the Evoque can hold at least twenty seven cases of beer, you'd get that, otherwise you'll be getting an Exige. I think it's clear that the X3M will have zero off road capability, so why would it matter if the Rover would?

Evoque's offroad capabilities are mostly electronic than mechanical. I test drove one last weekend, great little suv, very stylish, good for occasional offroading. I don't understand how OP expect us to make a decision when there isn't least bit of information on Cajun.
I do like the evoque

Cajun hands down
The Evoque 2 dr is cute and cuddly, the Q5 is classy, but the Cajun with a 350 V6, big wheels and a chronos package is just nasty......me like!

The problem with the Cajun is that it is a few years away, we don't even have the vaguest idea of what it will look like (boring is my guess). If you have time to wait and like driving, dont hesitate and make friends with your local Porsche dealer.
I would go for the Evoque as there is no point in getting a "drivers" SUV, it is like getting a less dangerous STD. A real enthusiast would probably buy an Estate. So, if we are decided that it is for looks and pose value, the RR is the best. The Audi is so dull I dont even want to write about it.

I'm either going to want Range Rover off-road capability but if I can't have that then I might as well go the performance route with the X3 M. I'm not going to find a satisfactory combination of the two in any of the other vehicles being compared anyway.
