Who still has dial-up?

Do people actually still use a dialup modem? How is AOL still even in business?

I switched to cable internet like 8 years ago.

I think no body , I hate dialup so much
I had dial up for like 4 years now i am using Cable and l love it .
I cant live without my internet and my car

My folks house still has it. The one thing I don't like when I visit

. They live in a rural area where its about the only thing available. Not too mention they are not too computer savvy and rarely use it.

i have dial-up as a backup. comes free with dsl.

There are still tons on dialup, can you believe it? Just look at United Online (formerly NetZero and Juno) [stock symbol UNTD]. Their stock is up almost 50% for the year. They still have a huge dialup base, but they are finally moving into the broadband market.

seriously it is the WORST. i had to work on a customers computer over dial-up.( i make housecalls on the side) i persuaded them to switch the dial-up! they finally got cable which is 10X better than DSL.
