How much have you spent on your car?
Just curious..... Since I've gotten my car, I have been bit by the mod bug. Spent over 10K on my car already.
I keep telling myself I'll stop.... hopefully soon tho Maybe I'll stop on the e46 when I get the 1 series.

About $5k on my old car, probably have only spent a few hundred on my new one. But then again, I've only had it for about a month.

$0
I have yet to find a mod that's worth the money. I'd rather buy a faster/better/more expensive car than mod a cheaper car. i.e. rather than put $10k into a 3, I'd buy an M3. Mods are good, but only on high-end cars that are at or near the top of the game where increasing performance cost exponentially more $, the 3 series isn't one of those types of cars. ex. 911 Turbo, M5, Ford GT, etc. The next echelon of cars after that cost about $100k more.

Maybe $1000? Still need to get snows and wheels, that'll bump things a few thousand.

Bleh, don't give me that. All exhaust systems sound raspy and like crap, I won't ever own one on any car I drive. I don't want my BMW to sound like a Honda.

approx. $5,000, give or take a few hundred bucks...of that, only $1,600 was spent on basic performance upgrades. just thought you'd all like to see the numbers for a non-BMW for comparison's sake.

Cash flow hasn't been the greatest lately so I really haven't modded the new car much at all. I've probably only put about 2000 into it so far. I dropped $20k into my s2000 though.

Installation costs included:
3300- Wheels 1,200- Tires 600- Turbo Tuner 400- H&R 1800- Milltek Sport Exhuast 200- Tint 400- V1 and then the little things here and there like no dust brake pads, oil changes every 3-4k miles..... so about 8,000-8,500'ish so far......but i've got an OEM front lip, M-tech side skirts, cold air intake, E92 M3 trunk spoiler, Bilstien HD Shocks, AA intercooler, Ultimate Racing pedals, and other things coming so i'd say by mid 2008 i'll have spent well over 11k on it. Wow, i havent really sat down and broke this down but it sure doesnt feel too good when i see all these numbers adding up like this.
