Laughable that she'd try to run through the gates, if that is in fact what happened. Anyone who is familiar with that area knows that there are 3' high, uber-thick steel plates that rise out of the ground to completely stop anyone in a car that would attempt to ram through the gates. They're located inside of the property just a couple of feet behind the gates. It simply is impossible to drive a car onto White House property. Those plates are inches thick BTW, they're designed to stop vehicles much larger than a friggin' G.

I think every article I've read so far has a slightly different version of the day's events. I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

The woman did have some medical issues based on media reports, I understand that the officers had no idea what her medical condition was. Or what the whole thing was about.

However, shooting at her while she got out and tried to run away....I find that pretty excessive.
They could have shoot her on the limps rather than fataly put her down.

It's a good thing her little girl is as young as she is, she will probably forget about the incident pretty quickly.

Wasn't an IPL but is a G37 journey. Thanks for sharing.
