Edit: the configurator has been up for weeks. I thought you were talking about an options configurator with pricing.

He is, the S5 is located under the "A5" option in the Audi config thing.

So what car in the stable are you ditching for the S5?
The car is amazing in person. The interior is well laid out and I feel that this car will get a lot more looks than the 335 will.
The 335 may be faster (modded) and has a better price point but you have to hand it to Audi for coming out with such a well styled car.
The dealer in Livermore had a couple in stock. I don't know if they were test only cars but they had price tags on em' so it looked to me like open season...

Yeah, according to the dealer down here some select dealers are getting early stock on Audi Speced cars... Gay.

Crap, the way i want it would be only 5k more than what i paid on the 335i.

Our local dealer already got two S5 in stock.

I'm pretty much decided on the S5. But, being young and having moved into my own place only since august, its a matter of how long i want to wait in order to save as much money as possible.

My 325i was paid for in cash, so its will be used as a trade-in. I was one of the first allocations at Westchester BMW in July of 2005, so its time for something new. It is just soo boring compared to what BMW is putting in the 3 series now. And the S5 is like a whole different ball game.

Hey, I got my car from Westchester BMW as well! Pretty funny that both of us are moving a long to bigger and better things haha. Do they treat you like shit in the service department as well? Oh and here is an A5/S5 Owner forum I found that may be of interest. ( http://www.a5oc.com/forums/ )

Yea, i figured you bought it at Westchester since i saw your sig. I havent really delt with the service dept. much. I bought my last two three series there and they have been pretty good, i think. But then again, I havent hasd any serious or abnormal problems. Just oil changes and maintenance.

I will be dealing with New Country Audi in Greenwich, as thats where i live. Is that where you will be going? This guy, Pawl, is there. And altough i have only met with im for a test drive, he was cool enough.

It also turns out, that if i can get around $25k for my 325i, then it wouldn't be much more out of pocket over 36 months to get into this car! Awesome!

What's going on with the gas guzzler tax on it though?
I don't know... I love my coupe soooooo much BUT the S5 is one nice car.

The only problem for me is that the dealer is about 45 mins away and there's nothing closer.

Also how much is maintenance on that bad boy

You can buy $500 Audi Care package that includes maintenance for 3 or 4 years I cant remember which. the GG on this car is $1,300. Which is $400 less than a 2008 S4
