05 4cyl honda accord vs 06 Audi A4 2.0

my friends have the 4 cyl honda accord and the other has a audi a4 2.0.. we raced as a joke thinking the honda would get whopped...
WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

the honda took the audi by a good 2 car lengths.. it was til about 60 mph

auto transmittions.. and the honda had 2 12 inch subs in the back also!

i know it sais 0 - 60 in about 6.7 for the a4.. but i guess not!

i know your not gona belive me but i will try to get a video asap.. it was too funny

Not so surprising. I think the I4 7th gen Accord has arouhd 160-170hp? I had a V6 7th gen myself, that had 240hp...it moved decent for a family car

Pretty decent for a family car? Did you have the AT or the MT. My cousin had the AT in 05 and moved to the MT a few months ago. I have NEVER in my life seen such a difference between the MT and the AT. That car really moves!

But on another note, tell your friend to stop driving around a stock turbo audi. That defeats the whole purpose!

The 4cyl Accord is surprisingly light, I want to say ~3300 lbs, and their 4-cyl has some power.

The Audi 2.0 is turbocharged...obviously it had no mods if it lost to a 4 cylinder Accord. Honda does a great job with their engines.

Launch???
The comment from the OP is that how you launch should really not matter in this case -- he expected Audi to be wayyyyy ahead...

Anyway, I had a 160 HP, 4-cyl Accord before my Bimmer and yes, it had nice power and was definitely lighter (and Audi is even heavier). Though, I am not sure what happened in that race -- my accord was doing north of 7.5 s 0-60.
One thing for sure, Honda MT is 10x better than the BMW one...

I had an 04 auto..and I know there is a big difference between the auto and the manual. My friend had the same car but in manual. We had the same mods...cold air intake, custom exhaust, and the v-afcII vtec controller tuned. I only dyno'd 200whp, and his dyno'd at almost 240whp. What is the bigger surprise is that his car had nearly the same amount of torque as well.
