Sorry, but this may take the wind out of any potential 4series gran coupe buyers. It looks sweet. Can't wait for the debut at NAIAS 2013....

Do they honestly still have a 0-9 numeric keypad on a new car in this century? Exterior looks nice but interior ruins it. Jetsons air vents, "babies first tablet" display screen, and a numeric keypad.....

I really like the look, but many people think the side cringes are too much (looking a little like a hyundai?) and I can see where theyre coming from.
but not much of a comparison to the 3gt, probably a 2-series competitor. |

AMG version is 4-matic only, no RWD - as it's a MB, it will undoubtedly have only the automatic transmission option for the US.
No thanks, I'll take the 435 Gran Coupe in rear wheel drive and 6MT. If BMW decides to follow Mercedes into the "automatic only" realm (which based on the current 6MT take rate may happen), maybe an M235 for me.

I like this idea of comparing concepts. Does it mean anything, really?
The 4 series production car will not look like the concept, and neither will the production version of this car. So, compare away! FWIW, I don't like this design either, but it's unfair to compare them as we have seen A LOT more views and details of the 4 series concept. |

Pretty sure it will also be a great car and be more luxurious but will it have the driving dynamics of the bmw? Performance > luxury any day. |

I doubt the AMG will be priced in the BMW4 GC range. More likely to be close to the m235 if that vehicle is brought to the US. AMG cars are great fun in their own way...although 4 MATIC will probably take away some of that.
