If that car could have kept going and not broken down he might have gotten away for the time being. Crazy 15 year olds!

Imagine someone on the road with a tuned 335i with racing suspension and tires? These days the cops are going to find it harder and harder to get these suspects, if at all.

I wonder how many people actually get away from the cops in these performance euro cars? They'll probably never release figures, but I'm going to bet that if a compitent ferrari driver guns it he may have a good chance of getting away if traffic permits.

You're a fucking asshole for wishing death on anyone. Actually I believe the kid "borrowed" the car from his father.

It didn't break down, the kid got away. The end of the video is simply a slo-mo of before he crossed the median. He got away, went home and his father made him turn himself in the next day. (at least that's the story I heard when I first saw this video posted back in the day)

I remember watching this video on TV, they never showed them catching the M3. It's funny how the video shows the officer bragging about his cruiser then the M3 just runs away from him, all the while dodging the spike strips. Oh yeah I also remember thinking it was a joke that they had the wrong info about the M3 being 240 supercharged hp. Especially when M3's had 240 hp stock with no supercharger.

M3 has always been naturally aspirated if I'm not mistaken. I laughed when they said the kid was no match for the officer's 350HP pos. Apparently he was if he got away. This is hilarious!

What about the part where the bowling ball head cop said "It is chipped so has more power than is available to the general public" Ok those chips are sold to the general public not only cops so trying to act cool cus you have one makes no sense.

Also they think 120 is fast? I noticed them getting hyped up when they said the speed. Just today the guys who came from New York for a meet in Mass said they were doing 150 in their M5's and M6's. These cops are hilarious.

Unfortunately Darwin didn't kick in then. That kid's stupidity could have cost someone's life. Someone minding their own business and actually has common sense enough not to drive like an ass. So, if I had to choose between the stupid kid or an innocent person, I would choose the dumb kid.

You're right, but still never wish death upon someone. But i was rooting for the kid for some reason .

Hahaha if I was that dumb cop I wouldn't show my face on there. "The LT4 is a Corvette engine with a computer chip that gives it even more power than the general public would have." Yes, a crude solid axled car with a push rod V8 is the pinnacle of automotive technology. I wish I was a cop so I could get my hands on that thing. Did you see how that GM piece of crap couldn't even stop and almost rear ended the M3? Then he gets out smarted by a 15 year old kid and crashes into a guard rail.

The police think they are making everyone so much safer by giving people speeding tickets, but time after time it seems like the only ones who are dangerous on the road at high speed are them. How many times have you seen videos of cops pulling people over for speeding and then causing an accident by being on the shoulder? Don't they realize that in Germany there are half the driving deaths per capita when people there drive twice as fast? Maybe people in Germany are able to keep their eyes on the road rather than looking for dumb red neck cops in their rear view mirror.

That host guy is a douche too. I once heard him say “and now the driver pushes his luck hitting speeds of over 80 MPH.” Isn’t that f-ing amazing? This was a chase on the freeway that was basically moving the speed of other traffic. These guys talk as if anything above 55 MPH is some sort of warp speed earth shattering end of humanity record. Makes me laugh.

Have you ever gone 100 or so? Your stupidity could have cost someones life. Granted nowhere near like this kid.

But guess what if the cops were not chasing him the chances of an accident would decrease so much.

I am not saying the cops shouldn't be chasing him just pointing that out. Because who is the one that nearly rearended someone and who spun out? The cop.

Oh also last I checked you are not God or any other imaginative figure people believe in. So you don't have to choose who dies and doesn't.

PRetty sure it didn't die out. The footage they had shown was the same when the kid crossed the median.
