I was driving the other day to find myself in a 991CS orgy. The car doesn't come out for another week in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

I looked at the 991 and I like it very much.Porsche has done a very nice job

They arrived last Tuesday but are not supposed to be shown to the public till Feb 15th.

The new 991S is even more expensive than the 997.2S that it replaces, which was more expensive than the .1S. That being said I would love to be back in a position to own one again (911). The new car is brought into the modern era as far as amenities and is made more civilized which some of the purists are already complainig. The 991S rocks..can't wait to see what the GT3 is going to be about let alone a GT2 and such.

Its here and its out there. Ive driven one. They've sold two in Dallas, one to a guy on another car forum that I frequent. I don't know where you guys get your release information.

I saw also saw a White S a couple days ago, while close to local Porsche dealership, looked like a test drive run, then they turned into the dealership.

I also thought that they were already out? I saw 2 sitting at the one dealership already and a Black one running around town last week....

Impressive that the 991S is faster than the 997.1 GT3 on most tracks. The 991 GT3 will kill those times, can't wait till it becomes available.

2 dealers have told me the same thing on the timing.I guess it is different in Canada.

i love'em, but gawd damn they are expensive!! Understandable when you consider that they could probably hang with an F360, but still. Tough to stomach for mere mortals like myself.

Went to the local Porsche dealership today and their only 991 was covered like they were prepairing for a grand unveiling! Strange that others say they are already being sold.

These are the test groups that have been running out of Porsche's set-up at the El Toro Marine Base. They've been posted up here for the past month and run a few groups on the runway and out on to the 5 South each day...
