Highest Outside Temperature
It is summer here in the desert. But it doesn't REALLY get hot until August. I expect this 104 degrees at 4:00 in the afternoon to soon be replaced by me or others.

i went outside just now to water my grass and the sun had pretty much already set behind the subdivision.
i was sweating like an inmate. fuck that. i spent a year in Yuma back in 2000 (Marine Corps) and, while it was hot as fuck, it was actually bearable. we played basketball in 110 degree heat at 3:30 - only remedial fucktards would try that shit in Houston. |

"...The highest dew points in the US are found in coastal Florida and Texas. When comparing Key West and Houston, two of the most humid cities from those states, coastal Florida seems to have the higher dew points on average. However, Houston lacks the coastal breeze present in Key West, and, as a much larger city, it suffers from the urban heat island effect..."
so Key West has more humidity, but they catch a break because they get a breeze from the beach. Houston is about 40 miles from the coast and it's a MASSIVE CITY - there ain't no freakin breeze in downtown, i'll tell you that right now lol. |

People ask the question, "Why are people in the middle east always so angry?"
Well how would you feel if you had to live in 130+ degree heat?

Plus, if you're close to the Fertile Crescent, it actually gets humid too. It really is downright oppressive. Not only that, but we actually once got some snow in the winter and it was pretty fucking cold. I hated that place a lot. |
