I honestly think that Switzerland is underrated. It is a beautiful country and i would rather go there then to Paris or London.

Never been to Zurich but have been to different locations. Check this website out.
[URL="http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/home"/URL] Definatly checkout Neuhausen and the Rhine Falls. Europes largest waterfall. The town of Lucern is really nice also. Be prepared to buy a viginette (sic)/road tax decal upon entering the country. It's about 40 euro. |

When I lived there, they seemed alright. Much better than the French anyway, but I lived in Suisse-Romande so I can't really speak for the Switzerdeutsch. |

+1 Lauterbrunnen is gorgeous. Went there on my last ED trip and loved it. It is surrounded by two huge mountain cliffs with a few waterfalls overlooking the entire town with a river cutting right in the middle of it. Breathtaking views...
Also check out Interlaken, which is very close to Lauterbrunnen. Interlaken is a larger town right by a huge blue lake. It is also surrounded by several mountains. There are trains/lifts available to the peaks for extreme skiing/boarding if that is your thing. Went there on my both of my ED trips because we loved it so much. If you are driving, I would highly recommend taking the scenic route through the Alps if the weather permits (and if your vehicle is capable enough). Went through the Gotthard and Furka Passes and it was probably the best part of my entire ED trip. Enjoy! |
