Wall Street Journal is a very prestigious company and the only newspaper company that actually went positive last year if I'm not mistaken. Go ahead Hawkeye, laugh. You know this guy is right.

I'm not so sure, as there have been plenty of other rumors saying its not gonna happened due to Verizons relationship w/ Google. An a lot of analyst are saying by bringing the iPhone to Sprint and T-Mobile they can make as much, since T-Mobile combined w/ Sprint are roughly close to the Verizon customers (number wise)

If it happens, the earliest it will be announced is Jan '11 and then avail to purchase mid/late 1Q. By then, who knows what other phones will be available. Plus if the iPhone isn't LTE compatible, I wouldn't waste my money and I'm already on VZW

I agree, I asked the manager at the local verizon store a few days ago when I was there getting a case for my droid x. I said word on the street is that you guys will have an iphone in january. He laughed at me, and said yeah right.

If Verizon gets an Iphone, it probably won't be until they get go 4G with the iphone.

The reason being for this is because Verizon will use a GSM 4G network instead of CDMA. When this happens then Apple won't have to make both a CDMA and GSM version of their phone.
