For anyone posting a YouTube video...
I've noticed a lot of people posting YouTube video's, me included, but they aren't showing up. For some reason, copying the embedded code off YouTube (the long block of text that starts with <object>) inside the brackets when you click the YouTube button isn't working anymore.
In order to post your video, you need to copy the end of the url and paste that in between the YouTube brackets. So if your YouTube video url is , then you need to put this code to make it show up in your post: PHP Code:
Hope that helps.

At some point I typed up a huge how-to and sent it via PM to someone... So, here it is again. Same instructions as above, but with visuals . I've included the "how-to" for embedding a video that has already been embedded as well.
---------------------------- You want to select everything after the "=" sign in the youtube link. Like this: Sometimes if you are trying to embed a link that has already been embedded you'll see a URL like this: Just make sure you get everything "after the =" and "before the "&" and you should be good to go. Then once you've got you want, click the youtube link and paste it in the middle of the "U2B" brackets when you are typing your post. Like this: Then sit back and marvel at your ingenuity. |

You used to be able to paste the embed code from YouTube inside the u2b brackets. I always did that but it stopped working about two weeks ago for me and all I would get were the big white boxes.

On a side note, I shit bricks when I found out that it was Enrique who sings the "Baby I like it!" part of the chorus. I would have bet $100 that a girl sang that part.

Running Safari on that Mac? Happening to me too (more often than usual) and it's because we're continuing to get hosed with no flash compatibility. I honestly think people over at Adobe are sabotaging us Safari users by installing code that crashes it more often. What are you gonna do.. |

Yeah but you posted it by pasting the end of the url. Try going to the YouTube page, clicking on the "embed" button, copying that massive block of text, and then pasting that between the u2b brackets. That what I used to do, but it no longer works for me. It only works if I past the end of the url.

You should have bet me before I watched the video! I have some old Spanish coins from before you switched to the Euro. You can have those.

I guess I didn't realize there were different ways of doing it. I asked how to do it here and a member told me to do it just using the code. Maybe youve been having problems since youtube changed its format? Thats the only thing I can think that's changed.
