Wow, lots of great shots this time. I decided to stay out after seeing some of the competition. Some of these are truly amazing. Nice work everyone!

Since there are a lot of beautiful photos submitted here, it was a little difficult for me to vote for only a few. So, I just wanted to comment on some of the photos and themes that I saw in them.

In regards to the photos with water in them, the one aspect that sort of didn't make me fall in love, was the shutter speed. It would've been really cool to have seen a photo with a sunset, where the water is blurred out so it almost looks glassy, with the sunset reflecting off of it. Along the same lines, I'm surprised no one shot a moving waterfall with a sunset somewhere in the photo.

In regards to that last comment, I did still vote for #17, because for whatever reason (which I can't explain), the hot spot in the center caused by the sunset really drew me to that photo.

Seminole, you had an awesome photo, but the one thing that blew it for me (which wasn't your fault) was that darn yellow pole in the middle. Otherwise the composition would've been perfect!

Anyways, just my random thoughts on the submissions, since I'm quite the novice at photography... lots of great photos to choose from!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm gonna see if CS5 can remove that pole and fill it in. I voted for you though because I want the next contest to be boobies.

I never said it would be... but, it's somewhat of a broad theme that I could see someone photographing some boobs to qualify for it

By the way, I'm kind of interested to see how well the CS5's content-aware plugin works on that yellow pole.

Well, it didn't go as smooth as I thought it would. It had a lot of difficulty with the top of the stadium by the lights, and where the dirt from the infield met the stands behind home plate. It also was so-so when it came to filling in the stands. I really didn't like the outcome on the close in shot that I used for the contest, but it worked better on the panoramic of the whole stadium. I'm not the best with Photoshop, so maybe I'll learn to use it better over time, but it didn't work anywhere near as smoothly as it did in the demo video where they were working on that shot of the golf course.

Anyways, here is the final product:
