+1, me either. IMO it kinda looks cheap compared to the 430. I know I'm going to take some bashing for that but thats just my opinion.

Very good review. I think I am the one who the very few who likes the 458 much more than the 430 or 360 (I never drove any of these). As for the 911 GT3 RS, for me it is the ONE AND ONLY Porsche. The other I could consider is the 911 Carrera S. All the others are not Porsche for me.
PS: When I see the 458 Italia, I can't wait to see what will be the MP4-12C, that I like even more than the Ferrari. |

Interesting ideological comparison. Technology vs visceral road feel.

Ferrari is not about 1 upping the competition is every performance category or how fast they go around a corner. They invariably do those things well and are designed with the hard core enthusiasts in mind. The "essence of Ferrari" is what they are all about. They are rolling masterpieces of art, exclusivity, and automotive passion who embrace and respect thier design history. No other automotive manufacturer illicits the awe and respect of this historic manufacturer. I have owned Porsche's and they are outstanding, grin inducing machines and I loved each one but Ferrari exists on a divine level. If I hit the lottery on Tuesday I'll be driving a Ferrari on Wednesday.
