Car got Keyed!

Hey guys,

My car got badly keyed on my university campus and I am pretty sure who did it, but there is no video, no evidence and no witness so far.

I reported to the campus security and the police but they can't do much about it.

Any advise what I can do to get this coward legally?

Double check the camera info, most schools are totally covered with them. Keep your ears open. Odds are if you know him and he did it he will get drunk and blab about it. Then, do as you will.

pics added! I already checked with my campus security and they don't have video in the lot i was parked in. I am not 100% sure its this guy but i am pretty confident is him. The problem is I don't have any prove to show!

The local police said they will only look into it if it happens again!! ARGH!

I do want to get his ass but legally! He atleast have to be punished for what he did and pay for the damage. The insurance company estimated 7 days of repair time plus $3000 of damage.

If I were you I would devote my time to finding out if it really was him. Then try to make him pay for the damages or perhaps play the role of karma. That won't make things better though. Sorry about that.
